Hotel Copernicus
Krakow, Poland
It is the only hotel in Poland with a membership in Relais & Châteaux, the association for exclusive and architecturally exceptional buildings, with locations in especially attractive regions of the world. The hotel was once the palace of the cathedral canons. It is here that Nicolas Copernicus, canon of Warmia, would stop while visiting Krakow. The historical value of the building as well as the preserved pieces of art, are all in line with the exceptional level of customer service. The ?Crest Suite? enchants with its wood beamed ceiling dating back to 1370 and the fresco in the ?Canon Suite? dates back to 1500.
Copernicus lives up to the idea of blending a high level historical building with a modern hotel. The luxury rooms are uniquely decorated and the bathrooms are finished with beautiful marble and travertine details. The patio area has access to the hotel WI FI zone. There is also a library room with a fireplace and a collection of old manuscripts, which is also a fully equipped modern conference room. The Cigar room is a great place to relax, and the hotel winery offers a great selection of over 200 wines. The sauna and hotel swimming pool are hidden among the arches of the medieval building.
