THE SACRED HAIRY FAMILY OF BIRMA
The Sacred Hairy Family of Birma began with father Shwe-Maong and his daughter who lived in the middle of the 19th Century. Both were covered with think hair on their faces, particulary in ears and nose. The started to tour as curiosity and their children continued to present themselves also in Europe and the USA.

AUNG SAN SUU KYI
Aung San Suu Kyi: She is a Burmese opposition politician Starting in 1990 she was detained under house arrest and remained there for 15 years, becoming one of the world's most prominent political prisoners. She was awarded with the Nobel Peace Price in 1991, which she could finally receive in 2012 after being released from prison. On 1 April 2012 she was elected to the Pyithu Hluttaw, the lower house of the Burmese parliament, representing the constituency of Kawhmu; her party also won 43 of the 45 vacant seats in the lower house.
