OCTAVIO PAZ
Octavio Paz: He lived between 1914 ad 1998 and was a Mexican writer, poet, and diplomat, and the winner of the 1982 Neustadt International Prize for Literature and the 1990 Nobel Prize for Literature. A prolific author and poet, Paz published scores of works during his lifetime, many of which are translated into other languages.

FRIDA KAHLO
Frida Kahlo was born as Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo y Calderón and lived between 1907 and 1954. She was a Mexican painter, probably best known for her self-portraits. Mexican culture and Amerindian cultural tradition are important in her work, which has been sometimes characterized as Naïve art or folk art.
