Legendary Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani opened the world's first Armani hotel in the world's tallest building: The Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The luxury 160-room hotel - which was personally designed by Armani himself - occupies the fifth to eighth floor of the towering skyscraper, as well as level 38 and 39.
Each room has been elegantly decorated to reflect Armani's signature minimalist style, with custom fabrics draping the walls, green Brazilian bamboo marble making a statement in the bathrooms, and precious Japanese tatami wood lining the floors. Seven unique restaurants and bars now serve gourmet international cuisine to a cosmopolitan crowd of jet-setting guests, while the world's first in-hotel Armani/SPA provides fully-tailored bespoke treatments in a calm and achingly cool environment. There is also an Armani custom-made sweet shop, an Armani florist and an exclusive boutique.
