JOSEPH PHILIPPE KARAM
The Lebanese architect lived between 1923 and 1976. In his thirty-year career, Karam was considered a leading figure of modern architecture in Lebanon. Among his influential projects are the Beirut City Center, a multi-use complex which included at the time the largest shopping mall in the Middle East and a large number of residential and commercial buildings in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.

ELIE SAAB
Born in 1964, his interest in fashion began at the very age of 5. In 1982, he launched his first fashion label after returning from studies in Paris. He became worldwide famous when Halle Berry wore one of this gowns when winning an Academy Award in 2002.
