The Ian Fleming Villa at Golden Eye
Oracabessa Bay, Jamaica
The original Ian Fleming Villa at Golden Eye overlooks the Caribbean Sea in the quiet village of Oracabessa Bay on Jamaica?s north coast. The beauty of The Fleming Villa is matched only by its history: It?s where author Ian Fleming created the James Bond character and wrote all 14 of the superspy novels. The musician, Sting, wrote his hit song, ?Every Breath you Take? while staying here and the gold album hangs in the Media Room today.

Having recently undergone a thoughtful renovation, the villa now features the original three bedrooms and two stand alone guest cottages (sleeps up to 10). Other unique features include the private Fleming Beach (exclusive to Fleming Villa), pool and state-of-the-art media room. The villa has its own dedicated staff that includes a butler, housekeeper and cook. Unique to this villa is its privacy and its proximity to the GoldenEye resort. Guests have the option of dining at GoldenEye?s two restaurants (Bizot Bar and The Gazebo), visiting its FieldSpa for treatments and taking part in all activities offered. Likewise, guests can choose to remain in the secluded privacy of the Fleming Villa grounds.
