Around 2,000 years ago, the surprising eruption of Vesuvius brought life in this thriving city to a complete halt. Take a tour of the excavations, and enjoy fascinating insights into the everyday life of the ancient Romans. In the late afternoon, when the last rays of sunlight bathe the bays of Capri in magical light, we will reach the legendary island. On an individual exploration, you will get a sense the special atmosphere which has attracted kings, artists and writers.

Teens´ Excursion: In Sorrento you can learn to make a pizza like an Italian*. Travel by bus along the coast to a farmhouse, where a pizzailo will show you how to make this delicious dish. Put your favourite pizza together and look forward to tucking in!

The following morning, Porto di Ponza will greet you with an impressive panorama, where you can still experience authentic Italy. This area surrounds the port like an amphitheatre. Enjoy relaxing hours, either walking on the Corso Pisacane, sunbathing in the crescent-shaped Chiaia di Luna or on an individual boat tour to hidden caves.

With its dreamlike surroundings and harbour perched on a limestone plateau, Bonifacio is one of the most impressive cities in the Mediterranean. You can reach the old city with its narrow cobbled streets by crossing a drawbridge, and from the upper city you can enjoy majestic views of the sea. Take a city tour including a boat trip* and you will have plenty of time to let the diverse impressions of the city take a hold of you. Alternatively, take a countryside trip to Col de Bavella* in the Corsican mountain world: encounter primaeval nature through narrow bends and dense woods.

Children´s Excursion: City tours can be great fun! All aboard the small train* for a journey into the upper part of Bonifacio. Gaze down from here and take in the EUROPA 2 in the harbour. Round off the day with a trip through the old town and enjoy a delicious ice cream.

Valencia has great diversity, combining cultural history with futuristic modernity like no other city can. A city tour* will take you past the traditional bullfighting arena and on to Mercado Central, where 1,200 traders present their goods under a colourful cupola decorated with azulejos. The pioneering aspects of this Spanish metropolis can be seen on a cycling tour along the river Turia*: the City of Arts and Sciences has led to the development of a fascinating ensemble of glass and steel on the banks.

Family Excursion: In Valencia we get ready to visit some of our underwater friends! In the Oceanografic* aquarium, there are over 500 varieties of plants and animals species, including sharks, sea lions and penguins. Learn exciting facts about different habitats - from the Arctic to the tropics!
