JONATHAN SWIFT
Jonathan Swift: He was an Anglo-Irish satirist, essayist, political pamphleteer, poet and cleric. He is remembered for works such as Gulliver's Travels. Swift is probably the foremost prose satirist in the English language, and is less well known for his poetry.

OSCAR WILDE
Oscar Wilde: He lived between 1854 and 1900 and was an Irish writer and poet. After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, he became one of London's most popular playwrights in the early 1890s. Today he is remembered for his epigrams, plays and the circumstances of his imprisonment, followed by his early death.
